After a crucial battle at the waikato stadium the springboks defeated the strong and mighty ALL BLACKS to clinch the Tri nations title....it was hard to watch. the atmosphere thickend as the last 5 minutes ticked away.

Francois Steyn opened the score board for the boks with 3 superb penalty goal from behind his own half..50 somewhat meters inside...

the match was a bit like the 1995 world cup final...

well well...THE BOKS ARE NOW CROWNED THE TRI NATIONS CHAMPIONS 2009!!!

tri nations rugby

After a couple of crucial battles between the 3 top rugby sides in the world the standing is as follows.

the aussies had a bad path to walk after losing all 4 of their encounters.

the all blacks on the other hand still have a small chance of making the tri-nations cup their own.

But the south africans the springboks are in absolutely great form this year, after being victorias in all 4 their encounters.

the last battle with the wallabies was a tuff one, cboks sit with a injury problem...

the next clash is between the aussies and the boks, south african coach peter de villiers are certain that the replacements of the boks will be able to fill the boots of the injured.
